New Study on “Computational Law”

On April 11, 2018, the European Research Council provided a grant of €2.5 million to lawyer and philosopher Mireille Hildebrandt of the Law Science Technology & Society studies (LSTS) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel to investigate the implications of artificial legal intelligence and the legal applications of blockchain. The title of Ms. Hildebrandt’s research is ‘Counting as a Human Being in the Era of Computational Law.”
